Classic Kitchen Bench Seating
Kitchen bench seating – The kitchen is one of the most popular gathering places in many homes. Friends and family gather to talk a day and prepare meals here. However, the kitchen may feel crowded if you do not have enough space for your collection or you need more storage space. A storage box with a hinged lid, which is also a comfortable width, depth and height of seating will create a kitchen bench seating that does not double duty
Cut three pieces of plywood -16- by -60 inches to the front, back and bottom of the bench. Cut two more pieces to 14 1/2 by 16 inches long at the ends of the bench. Cut four 16-inch long pieces of 2 by -2 timbers to corner braces. Make all these cuts with a round saw. Lay one of the end pieces on a flat surface. Sell one corner shine on top of each 16-inch end of the plywood. Adjust the edges of the rail with the 16-inch edge plywood piece. Attach the rail to the plywood by turning three wooden screws through the rail and into the plywood. Place one screw in the center of each rail and one 4 inches from both ends.
Place a 16- by -60 inch piece of plywood on a flat surface. This will be the front piece of the bench. Stand one of the end pieces head on its 16-inch edge on top of a 16-inch end of the front. Adjust the wide side of the end piece with the edge of the front piece. Attach the end piece to the front by inserting wooden screws through the rail and into the front part. Place a screw 6 inches from each end.
